Annika took her sisters on their second trip to Germany to see Mimi and Opa for Christmas; what a trip! The first week was spent in Roxheim, painting with Opa and playing with Mimi. Then we went to Salzburg, Annika, Niki, Britta, Papa, and Opa taking the train while Mama and Mimi drove the car. So much to do in Salzburg; the girls got to see Family, with Annika having some great fun with her cousin Lily. Annika got to ice skate in Mozart Platz again, while the twins were all over the place as they both began to walk during the trip. Of course the highlight of the time in Salzburg was Christmas, and afterwords Annika got to enjoy all the gifts from the Krist Kind, to include the heavy duty Expedition. Finally, it was back to Roxheim to enjoy New Years Eve (Annika did all the decorating, and was able to stay up until midnight to watch and hear all the fireworks). The trip ended with Annika choreographing and acting out her own little show for the family... Goodbye's at the airport were difficult, but the girls will be seeing Mimi and Opa again soon.
